My Red Fusion
SEL AWD, loaded, except nav.
I like the body lines and the rear how the dual exhaust shows, the frontend grille looks better with the chrome pkg. also. The wheels that came with this version are the better looking ones in my respect.
The interior is very quiet and the black leather with white stich gives you the sporty feel. Everything looks like it fits properly. The only option I'm missing for this version is the on board nav. I have my BlackBerry for that which syncs in no problem. I like the size of the trunk, its massive and the rear seats go down yet!
I bought this car used, which was a local trade and was serviced all the time. Waiting for a great used car to come along, saves you count less thousands of dollars for someone else to waste their money in the initial cost.
Fuel economy is a lot better than my former car with old technology. Summer driving is about 9-12km per litre and in the winter it goes up to 15kmp litre.
Driving in summer or winter, I find it just amazing to drive and own.
The transmission did develop an issue after a oil change and there was a TSB for reprogramming the shift patterns which cured the issues. The transmission relearnt its shift patterns.
The value I originally paid was worth the price compared to new.
Having bought this second generation Ford Fusion at a great price and the way it performs and runs. I would do it again.
