You’d think popularity would bring strong resale values, but that’s not always the case, according to Canadian Black Book. The Jeep Wrangler is the industry’s overall winner and best among compact SUVs, retaining 91 per cent(!) of its value after four years.

Canadian Black Book’s Brian Murphy said the Wrangler’s performance is attributable to its iconic design and Fiat Chrysler’s decision to raise the price year over year, which helps make used examples an attractive alternative.
